Fingerprint is how identifiable you are - ad blockers do not lower it. Blocking is best-effort detection and cannot be measured exactly from a web page. Details

Latency (to server) ...

Measured round-trip to our server. Browsers do not expose your real link speed or carrier. The Network Information API caps downlink at 10 Mbps and reports only a coarse "4G" class, so 5G, fibre and 4G all look identical, so we omit it rather than show misleading values.

Display & A11y Prefs

Scan
...

Your theme, motion and contrast settings are readable. Enabling them makes you more unique, not less.

Media Codecs

Scan
...

Supported codecs hint at your OS and hardware (for example HEVC points to Apple devices).

Language Chain

Scan

The full ordered language list reveals region and whether you are multilingual.

WebGPU Adapter

Scan

The newer successor to WebGL fingerprinting: your GPU adapter and its limits.

Math / FP Precision

Scan
...

Even arithmetic differs slightly across CPU, OS and engine, enough to help identify you.

Network-Layer (TLS)

Scan
...

The server identifies your client from the TLS handshake before any JavaScript runs - you cannot turn this off in the browser. This is how your browser loaded this page, which is separate from your DNS protocol. HTTP/3 appears only once the browser has upgraded this site to QUIC.

Reading your results

Blocking is what you can stop. Fingerprint is how identifiable you stay anyway.

How to read this

Fingerprint
A count of how many identifying signals your browser actually exposes, out of those we test. The browser really does reveal these, so the count is exact. This is what lets a site recognise you even with cookies cleared and your IP hidden.
Blocking (best-effort)
Whether ads, trackers and WebRTC leaks appear blocked. A web page can only infer this by watching requests fail, so treat it as a hint, not a verdict - a DNS-level blocker can register differently from a browser extension.

The takeaway: blocking ads is not the same as being un-trackable. A fully ad-blocked browser can still be highly identifiable.

What each readout means

1
Ads
Whether ad and pixel-network requests are blocked before they load. An active ad blocker - or DNS-level blocking - makes them fail.
2
Trackers
Whether known tracking endpoints (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel) are reachable from your browser.
3
WebRTC
Whether your real IP leaks through WebRTC. "no leak" means it stays hidden; "leaking" means a site can read it even behind a VPN.
4
Fingerprint
Canvas, WebGL, audio, fonts, client hints, sensors and timezone - identifying signals ad blockers do not stop. How fingerprinting works.

What actually helps

Raises Blocking
uBlock Origin stops ads and trackers (and WebRTC leaks with its toggle).
Lowers Fingerprint
A hardened browser (Brave, Firefox resistFingerprinting, Tor) reveals far less than stock Chrome. Ad blockers do not.
